Big Changes
Now that the Lean Web Club has been live for a few months, I’ve had the chance to talk to a lot of members and get feedback on what’s working and what’s not.
Based on those conversations, I’ve made a bunch of changes to the Lean Web Club, with more to come.
The most common theme I heard was that the content was disorganized, cluttered, and confusing. All of the updates are focused on fixing that. Here’s what’s new…
- Eliminated “Learning paths.” It was an idea that made more sense in my head than in actual implementation, and combined too many loose concepts.
- Courses, workshops, and projects have been consolidated under “Learn.” There’s now one place to find structured, guided learning by topic.
- Tutorials have been relabeled “Reference Guides.” These are intended to be a quick place to look stuff up after you learn it.
- Lots of courses have been added. I’ve pulled in about two-thirds of the Vanilla JS Pocket Guides and all of the Academy workshops. More are coming soon, as well as a ton more project collections.
I have more planned, but those are the big changes for now.
